Meet Dana Scoby, Corporate Spokesperson / Public Relations Liaison

With more than 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing and promotions, and a passion for the violin so strong that she founded her own violin school, Dana Scoby is uniquely qualified to assist elfenworks clients with their public relations needs.

Scoby has worked on behalf of our clients within the music, film and media communities since 2000, and she recently agreed to assume the role of primary spokesperson for elfenworks.

Dana Scoby's career began in advertising just after graduating with a BA from UCLA. After five years in advertising as an account executive, media buyer, and production manager, she moved into Public Relations, where she worked for key video and computer game publishers such as Psygnosis (a subsidiary of Sony), Activision (currently the number two game publisher), and a variety of other game developers and publishers. She has also worked side-by-side with the PR and marketing departments of key Silicon Valley industry players including Intel, AMD, Compaq, Dolby, nVidia, 3D Labs and others to promote and bring new technology and innovations to market. More recently, as Consulting Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Bio-Hydration Research, she helped take Penta bottled water from relative obscurity to the #1 selling water in health food stores nationwide. Other industry experience includes working in the consumer and business electronics, semiconductor, telephony, data communications, security and food service industries.

In addition to her work at elfenworks, Dana runs her own communications firm and teaches violin and piano at her music school, Maestro School of Music. During any moment of downtime, you'll find her playing the violin with one of a number of Bay Area symphony orchestras with which she is affiliated.
