Meet Filmmaker Dan Coplan

Dan Coplan (www.DanCoplan.com) is an experienced cinematographer who has worked with us on many projects over the past years. With a degree in Computer Science and Music, Dan left an established career in Washington, DC in 1993 to move to the west coast and attend Academy of Art College in San Francisco.

While pursuing his Masters degree in Motion Pictures, Dan interned at George Lucas' visual effects company, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). Discovering his passion behind the camera, Dan moved to LA to work with the best of the best and has since joined the International Cinematographers Guild and worked on numerous projects in a variety of formats.

In addition to bringing images to life on video and film, Dan maintains the latest post production tools for editing, DVD authoring, and a variety of multimedia needs.
