elfenworks Client Virtuoso Violinist Aaron Rosand
"All these performances are so good that if you only had them and no other recordings of the works, you wouldn't be missing much.
--American Record Guide (Review of Aaron Rosand: Live in Norway)
Legendary virtuoso violinist Aaron Rosand was listed by Gramophone Magazine among the players who have made the 20th century's greatest recordings
of violin music. Among the world's outstanding violinists, Rosand's masterful playing has captivated audiences and critics throughout the world. He is a
true violinist's violinist and "one of the great living exponents of Romantic violin music," according to the New York Times, and his recordings
have been lauded by Strad magazine as "synonymous with immaculate technical achievement, beautiful multi-coloured tonal luster, artful phrasing,
stylistic elan, and a probing musical intellect."
We are proud to be legendary virtuoso violinist Aaron Rosand's first and only webmaster. His website features CD detail pages, audio and video
clips, safe online CD purchase using PayPal, a mailing list, a feedback form, and translations of Rosand's biography into many foreign languages. From the
site's inception, we have managed all promotions at Mr. Rosand's site. In 2005, the website was redesigned to echo the artwork on Rosand's new
recital DVD (see below).
We are continually filming the artistry of legendary virtuoso violinist Aaron Rosand's performances and master classes. Venues include Philadelphia's Verizon Hall, Mills College, and the Heifetz Society in southern California.
We are pleased to announce that Aaron Rosand, Live in Recital at Mills College
has been selected by the Davey Awards for their top honor, a Gold Award, for outstanding creative achievement in the
category of Entertainment (read press release).
The film is now available from Video Artists International.
Most recent release from virtuoso violinist Aaron Rosand featuring dazzling live performances by Aaron Rosand in his prime. Our role as executive producer of this two-cd set
included negotiation assistance with the radio orchestras in Norway, remastering, obtaining distribution, and ongoing promotion.
On behalf of Aaron Rosand and Vox Music Group, elfenworks conducted negotiations (both in English and in German)
for the rights to release this recording. This release features live, broadcast recordings of the Paganini Violin Concerto and
Bruch's Violin Concerto #2 recorded with German radio orchestras.
Aaron Rosand: Brahms Hungarian Dances mp3.com CD [cd details] [mp3 clip]
Elfenworks set up the MP3.com account, developed cover artwork, formatted the liner notes, encoded and uploaded all audio and artwork files, tracked sales and downloads at MP3.com, and
worked to promote the music to online radio stations. The CD has not been available online since the demise of MP3.com, but we are glad to report that Rosand is considering
making his music available for download and purchase through other music portals. Meanwhile, Musical Concepts has just released a two-cd set of Rosand's critically
acclaimed recordings of Brahms and Joachim, including the Brahms Sonatas and Hungarian Dances, which were previously only available individually. That two-cd set is available
for purchase at arkivmusic.
