in local clubs and venues, thanks to a widespread rep for distinctive,
lively performances of everything from jazz and Brazilian to salsa and classical, and both original tunes and renditions.
Now, with her award-winning concert film screening in
film festivals and a CD release which made debuted at #20 and climbed to #9 on Clifford Brown Jr.'s American Jazz Countdown, the secret is out.

Presenting jazz pianist Tammy Hall's debut DVD, 'Tammy Hall: Reflections.' This ambitious DVD is based
on a live performance of original compositions and jazz standards filmed at the famed Yoshi's Jazz House in Oakland California, Hall's musical artistry is then
combined with sophisticated cinematography by the elfenworks team and visuals by master editor/animator Tim Schaller. The blending of her performance with
dream-like imagery invites viewers to escape into a world of visual metaphor inspired and driven by the emotional qualities of the music.The film was
released February 28th. It is a recipient of 2006 Summit and
Telly Awards and is an official selection of the Mendocino Film Festival, the
Ybor Festival of the Moving Image, the Globians Festival, and the
Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary Ocean Film Festival .
Footage has aired on Bay Area Focus with Susan Sikora
on KBHK/UPN TV and the DVD was a KCSM 91.1 member pledge-drive
thank-you gift.
