In the 1990s, MP3.com was a leading choice among independent musicians wishing to distribute their music via CD but avoid the CD production costs. We were proud to assist elfenworks client and virtuoso violinist Aaron Rosand in releasing his recording of the complete Brahms Hungarian Dances for violin and piano through MP3.com.

Elfenworks set up the MP3.com account, developed cover artwork, formatted the liner notes, encoded and uploaded all audio and artwork files, and even tracked sales and downloads at MP3.com. We also worked on behalf of our client to promote the music to online radio stations.

The CD has not been available online since the demise of MP3.com, but we are glad to report that Rosand is considering making his music available for download and purchase through other music portals.
